Welcome to Pets With A Mission! The New Member Orientation is the last step in your journey. During the orientation session, you will:

  • Go through the PWAM Orientation Manual.

  • Discuss PWAM policies and procedures.

  • Have an opportunity to ask questions.

  • Select which disciplines you would like to participate in (Schools, Hospital, Seniors, Libraries, and/or Special Events).

  • Receive your ITA credentials.

  • Receive PWAM uniform shirt and dog vest.

When your orientation is complete, the Orientation Coordinator will forward your discipline choices to the appropriate Discipline Coordinators. They will work with you directly to set up your visits.

Prerequisites

You must complete the PWAM Initial Registration process (including the Team Evaluation) before attending a New Member Orientation.

Once PWAM has received your ITA credentials, the New Member Orientation Coordinator will contact you to schedule your orientation.
